Judson C. Martin, M.D.
Dr. Martin joined Oregon Trail Eye Center in 1983. He is a graduate of the Nebraska College of Medicine with residency training at the University of Nebraska specializing in Ophthalmology. After completing his residency, he continued his education at Ohio State University specializing in retinal disease and surgery. Dr. Martin is board certified in Ophthalmology and specialized in Retina-Vitreous surgery.
In addition to providing specialized Ophthalmic care to patients throughout western Nebraska and eastern Wyoming, he extends his services world wide as a volunteer to the Orbis International Project. Orbis is a non-profit flying eye hospital and surgical suite that travels the glove bringing state-of-the-art ophthalmic care to remote areas.
Thomas J. Roussel, M.D.
Dr. Roussel is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He interned at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in San Diego, California and completed his residency and fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas specializing in Ocular Microbiology and Immunology. While a resident and then fellow at Baylor, he investigated infections of the cornea and corneal transplant rejections. From Texas, Dr. Roussel moved to Australia where he spent two additional years of fellowship specializing in corneal transplantation.
From 1985 to his joining Oregon Trail Eye Center in 1990, he was an Assistant Professor at the University of Miami School of Medicine. While at Miami, he traveled world wide taking eye treatment to some of the worlds most primitive locales. He has published papers on cornea and external eye disease and has won numerous awards for his work.
Shawna Collier, M.D.
Dr. Collier is a graduate of the Univeristy of Iowa College of Medicine. She interned atHealth One - Presbyterian St. Lukes in Denver, Colorado and completed her residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. While there, she participated in the Resident Training Committee.
